This website has no account, cookies, analytics, tracking, forms, third-party scripts or third-party fonts. It does not ask you to enter personal details.

Visit logsThis site runs on our own server. No visitor log is kept for this site: we have switched off the log that would list your internet (IP) address and the pages you looked at. One small exception: the server also keeps a general error log, shared with other sites on the same server. If a request to this site fails (for example, a page that does not exist), that error log can record a line that includes your IP address and the address you asked for. That log is rotated every day and each file is kept for 14 days, so such a line is gone after about two weeks.

The Fort app

Fort is still in build and has not been released. The current build rules are: no account, no analytics, no advertising or crash SDK, and no network calls except the app store’s own purchase calls. The app is being built to keep vault information on the phone.

These are rules for the build. Fort has not been tested on a real phone or had an outside security review, so they are not a claim that the released app has been independently verified.

Phone backups

On Android, Fort is built to keep the vault out of phone backups (built, not yet tested on a phone). The iPhone backup exclusion is not built yet, so an encrypted copy may be included in a person's iPhone backup.
